History of The Outback in Jasper Georgia USA

History and Intrigue of The Outback as we know it:
The Outback was Established Circa 1998 envisioned as a quiet scenic mountain setting for property owners to build their custom home in a “Deed Restricted” community.

Development was in Phases 1,2, and 3 with privately maintained roads. Most properties are a minimum of 3 acres or more. The Elevation averages 1800 feet. Every property has a tranquil setting of mountain views, or woodlands, some with creeks, legendary bent trees, and wildlife. Here Property owners live in harmony with the Deer, Black Bear, Fox, Bobcat, Turkey, Rabbits, Brown Hawk, and Peregrine Falcon, to name a few.

The Outback is located within an easy 10 – 15 minute drive of Historic Downtown Jasper, Georgia, known as the “First Mountain City” and home of the Georgia Marble Festival.

Part of the “Old Federal Road” routes thru Jasper.
The Appalachian Trail originated on nearby Oglethorpe Mountain. Now, relocated to Springer Mountain.
